The Ends Out Hoodie is a colorful statement knit that’s all about playing with color. No need to sew in the ends—that’s the beauty and art of the Ends Out Hoodie. This design has a simple, beginner friendly construction. It is worked bottom up, knit flat in pieces and seamed together. Once the Body is complete, stitches are picked up for the Hood, the piece finishes with a picked up, ribbed edging. Let your creativity run wild in the Ends Out Hoodie!

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter

Needle Size:

Size US 15 (10 mm) 32” / 80 cm or 40” / 100 cm, 60” / 150 cm circular knitting needles

Size US 17 (12 mm) 32” / 80 cm or 40” / 100 cm, 60” / 150 cm circular knitting needles 

Adjust needle sizes as necessary to match gauge. 

Sizes:  1 (2, 3, 4, 5)[6, 7, 8, 9]

Finished Measurements:

34.75 (39.25, 43.5, 48, 52.5)[57, 61.5, 66, 70.5]” / 88.5 (99.5, 110.5, 122, 133.5)[145, 156, 167.5, 179] cm finished chest circumference

Fit Note:

Recommended to be worn with 2-12” / 5-30.5 cm of positive ease at the chest, depending on your preferred fit. The smaller sample is shown in a Size 2 on a 34” / 86.5 cm chest with 5.25” / 13.5 cm of positive ease. The larger sample is shown in a Size 5 on a 42” / 106.5 cm chest, with 10.5” / 26.5 cm of positive ease.

Gauge:

6.5 sts and 11 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch worked flat, steam-blocked, on the larger needles

Note: Adjust larger needle size as needed to achieve gauge. Then, for the smaller needle, use a needle approx. 2mm smaller than larger needle.
